Metro Mug has both the convenience of a mug and the functionality of a tumbler. With its simple look, it delivers a message of finding and enjoying relaxing moments in the hustle of modern society. The design of this mug utilizes various lines, the basic element of different forms. The prime feature of our product is that it uses straight, curved, and diagonal lines to create unity and coherence in the design. The simple straight and curved lines used in the body create seamless connection, thus providing a pleasant gripping experience from any angle. To realize the most significant feature for indoor use, the upper part of the handle uses a straight horizontal line to grant stability when users hold the mug. The lower part of the handle uses a diagonal line to allow broader space to accommodate users of various hand sizes.
We aim for a design that allows users to feel comfortable in an actual use setting, and a design that naturally harmonizes with the indoor space and creates a comfortable atmosphere by itself. In this regard, we addressed the main needs of consumers, such as weight, balance, and actual size, and used simple lines in the design and modern but timeless colors. We took account of mugs being use outdoors too. For example, when people go camping and sit outside for a long period of time, they use tumbler mugs. Our product uses triple insulation technology with a vacuum wall structure to provide excellent temperature retention and prevent condensation and getting extremely hot. Silicon silence-stopper is applied to the bottom to prevent slipping and noise when the tumbler is put down. We also paid careful attention to the hygiene part. Our mug is easy to clean as it has a wide neck and all parts, including the cap, are separable.
